I am a soon to be 35 year old Italian American woman suffering from stage 4 Endometriosis. I was diagnosed in 2006 and have since had 2 spearate laroscopic surgeries. I have been suffering for a long time and researching for a long time. I am looking to hear from other women that are suffering or may possibily be taking the Lupron Depot injection to treat the condition. I have had 2 injections of Lupron so far and the side effects leave me wanting to talk to other women who have used the therapy or are thinking about the therapy. I feel alone and I am looking for a community to relate to. I have done some searches online but found the communities that are currently out there are greatly lacking so I am starting my own. This blog will be dedicated to reporting the symptoms of lupron injections as I feel them. Remember every woman’s body is different and what you read here and everywhere else should be filtered with that in mind.

I too have stage 4 endo and was on lupron for 6 months last year(starting in March). My blog follows the journey. Many women will say it was a terrible experience. I didn’t think so. Of course I’m thinking in retrospect here. I would do it again if I needed to…but my main concern with it is bone density loss. I have a family history of osteoporosis.

Thanks so much for commenting on my post! I read through some of your posts as well. It’s sounds like we have a few things in common. I really am not feeling symptoms like some people are stating they feel within a matter of weeks. I am on month 2 and my symptoms are still pretty mild I’m worried about the bone loss as well because my mom and my grandma both have osteoperosis and arthritis so the whole bone pain and loss is cause for concern in my world definitely.
I’ll be following your blog and adding to mine so that we can compare notes.
